1:1 Physiotherapy Sessions

Physiotherapy at The Chelmsford Hospital, Essex uses a range of techniques to help improve movement and function where parts of the body have suffered injury, illness or other disability.  We also offer an on-site physiotherapy gym frequently used as part of our treatment programs.

Physiotherapy sessions with one of our specialist musculoskeletal Physiotherapists for:
• Back and neck pain
• Post-operative or sporting injury rehabilitation
• Acute and chronic injury care
Initial assessment – £50 (45 minute session)
Follow up appointments – £40 (30 minute session)

Monday – Friday appointments available.
The number of physiotherapy sessions required will vary from person to person and the condition being treatment. During the initial 45 minute consultation, patients are individually assessed by our registered physiotherapists and a tailored treatment programme is drawn up. Typically, 6 follow-up treatment sessions lasting 30 minutes each are required to provide relief from most conditions.  At every session, progress is carefully monitored against the treatment plan which is adjusted accordingly.

Our Physiotherapists
All our Physiotherapists are members of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and are highly experienced in their fields of expertise. Our physiotherapists work closely with other specialists within the hospital including our Pain Clinic Consultants, Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, and Sports Physician, where necessary. They are also supported by our onsite Diagnostic Suite for x-ray, ultrasound, and MRI scanning. Our physiotherapists use a combination of the latest treatment techniques, exercises and advice. You will be treated in our specialist physiotherapy rooms and dedicated gym.
