Aspen Healthcare

Aspen Healthcare acquired The Chelmsford (formerly Chelmsford Medical Centre) on 1st October 2012. Aspen owns and operates seven other healthcare facilities in the UK, including Highgate Hospital, Parkside Hospital, Cancer Centre London and Holly House Hospital in Buckhurst Hill. Holly House has recently undergone a £20m expansion which houses a new outpatients department with 23 consulting rooms, three new theatres, a pharmacy, pathology lab and endoscopy unit.

"We take great pride in our healthcare portfolio. Over recent years, in excess of £50m has been invested to ensure Aspen can offer a premium and differentiated healthcare service; one in which we would be happy to treat our own families. Aspen continuously strives to be the best local provider of independent acute care and to that end we continually invest in technology, staff, training and facilities.
The Chelmsford is an excellent facility with a proud tradition of delivering quality healthcare to the people of Chelmsford and the surrounding regions. Aspen Healthcare is excited by the many opportunities this acquisition offers and intends to build upon the hospital's past success."
